Kirsty went above and beyond to look after Millie and Bertie when we had to leave them at Eastmead Cattery longer than expected due to unforeseen circumstances. Kirsty treated the cats as if they were her own and they both love her.

We’d used Eastmead with our late cat, Lily, who loved her stays with Kirsty. I was nervous leaving Meika and Tam as it was their first time but knew they would get the best care. I need not have worried as they were both very happy when we collected them. I’m sure they’re looking forward to their next stay.

Harry has been coming to Kirsty for two years now , we have nothing negative to say about Eastmead, he’s always happy here, it’s in a beautiful setting,lots for him to look at and pass the time of day, throughly recommend

We boarded Inca for a long stay in January 24. She settled in very well and, when we collected her last weekend, we were greeted with a very settled cat who looked very relaxed and happy!
Kirsty sent photos of her whilst we were away which we were so grateful to receive. This is a really lovely place to board your cat – it’s a peaceful location, very well run and clean and Kirsty is very caring and professional. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Eastmead again and would thoroughly recommend it.

We left Lola in the cattery while we went on our holidays and we were very happy with the care and the setting .It was Lola`s first time and Kirsty was very kind and very nice with her. We would definitely book place for Lola again in the future and we can`t recommend it highly enough.

We stay away in Spain regularly and love the fact our beloved 💕Burmese Pinky & Nugget have somewhere safe to stay with people that simply love cats . Kirsty is very knowledgeable and does everything to make their stay a great one and keep our minds at rest

We have 4 Bengals and had never considered leaving them in a cattery before. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to put them in one with very short notice. How lucky we were to find Eastmead, run by the lovely Kirsty. It’s set in gorgeous surroundings; roomy and spotlessly clean pens with an outdoor area for playtime! Kirsty has kept us constantly updated with pics and videos which is so reassuring. I can’t recommend it highly enough. We can’t wait to get our fur babies back after 3 months but looking to the future, my husband and I will now be able to go on holiday together as we won’t hesitate to use Eastmead again!

Our beautiful Toby enjoyed a happy holiday at Eastmead. We were very impressed with his accommodation and the fact he could enjoy the garden area as well. Kirsty went beyond expectations in care as she had to take Toby to the vet and kept us updated with his health situation ….which has improved dramatically thanks to her suggestion of an easy diet change. He’s already booked in for more catstaycations with Kirsty ❤️

My cat is well cared for and regular updates are sent by email including pictures which always makes me feel like he is happy and being well looked after. We were delighted to find a Cattery that could accommodate our 3 girls together. Kirsty was extremely welcoming and reassuring as this was our first time leaving our 20mth old girls. Its in the most beautiful, quiet setting with trees all around with plenty of shade. Each section of pens has a grassy area for cats to play if they wish, at some point during each day. We were delighted to receive a couple of updates and some pictures during our 6 days away. It was unexpected and another reason we would not hesitate to book the girls in again. We were completely reassured they were ok. It meant we could relax and enjoy a much needed little break away.

This is the first cattery I have used and I won’t ever be going anywhere else! Kirsty’s cattery is set in her beautiful gardens, is very clean and tidy and the pens are lovely. We book an outside space for our two cats to share and it is really spacious, it has a little wendy house, a separate house and a grass area and a shrub. There is even a little shelf for them to sit and sun themselves! They have plenty of things to look at in the garden and there are even gorgeous hanging baskets hanging up outside. It really is wonderful. Kirsty is brilliant, a lovely lady, super organised and really interested in your cat’s individual needs – she really set my mind at rest leaving our two cats with her. I have already recommended Eastmead to several of my friends and they are just as happy as me!

I have boarded several cats over the years, first with Carol and then with Kirsty and I can’t praise the cattery highly enough. I plan my holidays around Eastmead, rather than the other way round. We are presently going through a very difficult house move and have had no option but to leave our precious moggies with Kirsty for nearly three months. She has been a wonderful support and a beacon of calm in all the drama. The cats have a lovely outdoor pen and I receive regular updates and photos to reassure me that all is well. I have complete confidence that they are being well looked after and my only concern is that they may not want to leave, when it is finally all over!!

It was with some trepidation I left Merlin, my hyper, fur pulling Tonkinese boy with Kirsty for ‘bed rest’. Although not broken he had damaged one of his legs and was hobbling on the other three. At home he wouldn’t settle so the cattery it was. Merlin was there for nearly four weeks and during that time Kirsty kept me updated with pictures and videos of his progress. Her care, which included giving him four types of medication for his injury was second to none. It was very reassuring to know he was being so well looked after, clearly loved and thankfully relaxed. He actually came home with more fur than when he left! I now know that I can leave my ‘high maintenance’ cat in extremely capable and caring hands and finally think about a holiday for the first time in 7 years! Thank you Kirsty!

Eastmead Cattery provides a calm environment in lovely surroundings. Kirsty is welcoming, always helpful and I know my cat is being well looked after. It is well organised, the pens are clean and a good size, and my cat loves the secure garden area. I highly recommend.

We have been using Eastmead cattery to board our cats for over 15 years. Kirsty has continued the high standard of care set by Carol, the previous owner. The outdoor pens are clean and a good size. There is also an enclosed garden area. We have always felt confident about leaving our cats to enjoy our holiday, while they have one too at Eastmead!

Hank has always been very well looked after which is important to me as he has to have medication twice a day. Kirsty is lovely and the cattery is top class. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

My two spoils girls spend about five times a year with Kirsty and I feel totally relaxed about leaving them at Eastmead. It is without doubt the only place I would let them spend their holidays . It is like home from home to them and they always look so well and happy when I collect them. Ruby and Madge say thank you Kirsty.

East Mead Cattery is situated in lovely peacefull surroundings. My cat Lolly was so well looked after, her “accommodation” was so clean and welcoming for her I am sure she didn’t really want to leave. Thank you for being so lovely and helpfull, nothing is too much trouble.

My cat Maisy was extremely relaxed when I came to pick her up after a 2 week stay which is always a good sign. I will definitely be using Eastmead again knowing my cat will be well looked after.

Ellie has been coming to East Mead for a few years. The pens are spacious amid quiet surroundings. Ellie is a very timid cat and we are very happy to leave her here knowing she is being well looked after.

Hobbes has stayed at Eastmead a couple of times now and I know he’s in great hands. The pens are a lovely size with all the necessities a cat needs. I know when I leave Hobbes with Kirsty he will have the best possible care.

This is a lovely holiday venue for our cats! Accommodation is great and they keep warm but at the same time are in touch with nature. Plus they have time out to roam as well. It is so obvious that this is a cat loving place where we can all feel content to leave our beloved cats in safe hands while we are away.

Would highly recommend Kirsty and Eastmead Cattery – my cats come back very chilled out, not stressed at all. The cattery is lovely with big pens, and some with enclosed garden areas.

We have boarded our cats at Eastmead for over 20 years and would recommend anyone who loves their feline friends to book theirs in too. In that time, we have had 2 much loved ‘outdoor boys’ requiring room to roam and we have been extremely happy to leave them here.The large garden pens have proved to be a life saver for both of our boys as they have been able to follow their usual routine of ‘taking the air’ in a safe,outdoor environment. I am so happy to have found Eastmead Cattery for my 3 cats. They stayed here at several occasions and I always felt reassured and pleased with the great care. The owner is a real cat lover and my cats know it! The cattery is clean, safe, calm and the attention to details in the pens is impressive. I particularly love the large garden pens for the summer where my 3 cats can stay together for a long stay. Very good communication, lovely green location, I highly recommend.

Bobby returned home after two weeks with a spring in his step and a really glossy coat. It was obvious he’d been cared for extremely well. The accommodation is fantastic, with lots of comfort and stimulation all around, and we just knew he would be loved and given lots of attention. Kirsty really understands animals and has a wonderful bond with all her guests. It makes going on holiday all the more enjoyable, knowing that Bobby is in such fantastic hands.

Our ginger and white tom, Charlie stayed with Kirsty for 3 weeks – the first time he had boarded at Eastmead. It was obvious when we collected him that he had thoroughly enjoyed his holiday ! He was totally relaxed, in tip top condition and we think would have happily stayed there for longer. It was nice to know that he had not been restricted to his enclosure but had been out into the fenced garden area each day. We can thoroughly recommend Eastmead and Kirsty

We recently left our 8 month old kitten Lexi with Kirsty whilst we were on holiday. We were worried about leaving her for the first time but needn’t have been we think she was totally spoilt and loved her stay. One of the reasons we choose Eastmead was the size of the runs and the larger run which meant Lexi could have a run around if she wanted to. The cattery is in a lovely location and has a lovely family feel we were lucky to meet all the family on our first visit we would highly recommended Kirsty & Eastmead, we will not hesitate to book Lexi in for her next stay.

Our 12 year old Siamese cat Coco has been boarding at Eastmead for the last 10 years. He is a regular visitor as we are currently have to divide our time between Sussex and Cornwall, so he currently has stays of approximately 2 weeks every 2 months. I am delighted to say that Kirsty has seamlessly taken over Carol’s wonderful reins and that Coco is as happy staying at Eastmead since Kirsty took over last autumn as he has always been. It is a lovely, clean cattery in a beautiful rural setting and Kirsty is very caring and knowledgeable about animals. I do not hesitate to recommend it, and Coco would not stay anywhere else!

“Freddie has been with Carol at Eastmead for all of his life and I was really sad and naturally nervous of the change in ownership. However, I needn’t have worried because Kirsty is adorable and clearly knows, and loves cats.
My baby boy had a month long stay with Kirsty whilst I moved house; and I have to say I was so delighted with the love and care he received during his stay. He looked amazing when I picked him up and although he obviously prefers to be snuggled at home, he was clearly content whilst there.
I have just dropped Freds off for a short stay whilst Mum skis for a few days and I feel as confident leaving him, as I did when Carol looked after him. Such a nice feeling to know our fur babies are loved and cared for.”

We were really reassured to see that Dylan took to Kirsty straight away as did we. In fact, Dylan enjoyed his holiday break so much that he seemed reluctant to come home! He had obviously been well looked after as he was in great condition and was very relaxed on the way home. We have already booked him in again for a break in May.
